For the service of court papers or replevins within the City of Manawa. This fee does not apply to serving restraining orders or other court papers exempt from fees by State Law.

 

OVERSIZED LOAD ESCORTS

 

We will only provide this service within the City of Manawa. Please call the department for details on providing this service.

 

You must be in receipt of and in compliance with all required State permits.  Vehicles/trailers must be compliance with all State Laws and State Administrative Transportation Codes.

 

 

POSTING OF BONDS         $5.00

 

We can not accept bonds once the person has been incarcerated in a correctional facility.

 

 

RESTITUTION

 

If you were court ordered to pay restitution you must submit this payment directly to the Clerk of the Court which ordered the restitution. We can not accept it.  

 

The department only takes bond and restitution in emergency situations. If the department accepts a bond or restitution the deparment will charge this fee due to the accounting and legal issuses surrounding these types of payments.  

 

 

PRIVATE SECURITY DETAILS

 

Actual cost of officers wages, benefits, and equipment needed.  Event must be held with in the City of Manawa. We are unable to provide this service outside the City of Manawa.

 

 

BIKE LICENSES

 

$3.00 for newly issued license

$0.50 for transfer/replacement

Licenses are non-expiring

 

 

DOG LICENSES

 

Available through the Manawa City Hall during normal business hours.

 

Cats are not required to be licensed in the City of Manawa

 

 

POUND FEE                $10.00 per day

 

Proof of vaccination and registration must be provided prior an animal being released from the City Pound.

 

Animals are kept for 7 days and than are placed up for adoption or transferred to an accepting humane society or animal rescue.

 

 

VEHICLE LOCKOUTS               $5.00

 

Within the City of Manawa only.  Department is not responsible if they are unable to open the vehicle.
